About Ionia
I'm a modern languages student at the University of Bristol. I have just come back from my year abroad which I spent volunteering for a youth organisation in Buenos Aires and working in a primary school in Paris. The skills I gained during my time teaching English to a variety of different age groups in both Argentina and France have inspired me to come back home and take up tutoring.

From my experiences teaching abroad I strongly believe that a wide range of fun activities are key as a language teacher especially when it comes to learning vocabulary and different grammar rules. Rather than making students repeat and write out pages and pages of what needs to be learnt, it is important for students to be engaged. It is in this way that positive results will show.
