Hi, I’m Your Future Teacher!

Hi everyone! I’m Mia, a Finance graduate who believes that no subject is too difficult when you have the right way of learning.

You might think Mathematics is all about complicated formulas, or Bahasa Melayu is just about memorizing grammar and essays. But I want to show you that learning can be much easier—and even enjoyable—when you truly understand what you are doing.

Why do I want to teach?

Because I know that sometimes the biggest challenge isn't that you “cannot do it.” You simply haven't found the learning method that works for you yet.

In my Mathematics lessons, I’ll break difficult questions down step by step, using simple explanations and real-life examples. As a Finance graduate, I can show you how Mathematics is actually used in everyday life—from calculating discounts and percentages to managing money and understanding interest.

For Bahasa Melayu, I’ll help you understand how to answer questions, build better sentences, develop ideas, and write with confidence. Instead of simply memorizing model answers, you’ll learn how to think and express your own ideas.

But here’s what matters most:

I don't want you to be afraid of getting an answer wrong.

Mistakes are part of learning. You can ask me questions, tell me when you don't understand, and try again without feeling embarrassed. We will work together until the topic makes sense.

My goal isn't just to help you get better grades.

My goal is to make you believe that you can.

So if you're ready to improve, challenge yourself, and become more confident in your studies, I’d love to be part of your learning journey.

About the lesson

As a Finance graduate, I believe learning should be practical, understandable, and connected to real life. My goal is not simply to teach students how to memorize formulas or answer questions, but to help them understand why the answer works and how they can apply their knowledge confidently.

For Mathematics, I use real-life examples such as money, budgeting, discounts, percentages, interest, and financial planning. This allows students to see that Mathematics is not just about numbers—it is a skill they can use in everyday life.

For Bahasa Melayu, I focus on improving students' understanding, vocabulary, grammar, writing, and communication. I encourage students to explain their ideas in their own words instead of relying entirely on memorization.

My lessons are designed to be:

Easy to understand – I break difficult topics into simple steps.
Interactive – Students are encouraged to ask questions and participate.
Practical – I connect lessons to everyday situations.
Exam-focused – We practice questions and learn effective answering techniques.
Student-centered – I adjust my teaching according to each student's level and learning needs.

Most importantly, I want my students to feel that “I can do this.” I believe confidence grows when students understand the basics, practice consistently, and see their own improvement.

My aim is to make every lesson a step forward—not only towards better grades, but towards becoming a more confident and independent learner.
