About Palak
I am a dedicated finance student with a strong foundation in mathematics and experience working with algebra and quantitative concepts. I take a patient, supportive approach and make sure students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence in their math skills. I come prepared for each lesson and tailor my approach to each student’s individual needs and goals.

My approach is to make math simple, approachable, and easy to understand. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts step-by-step, using examples, practice problems, and explanations that match each student’s learning style.
A typical lesson starts by reviewing what the student already knows, identifying areas they are struggling with, and then working through concepts and practice problems together. I encourage students to ask questions and explain their thought process so we can build both understanding and confidence.
What sets me apart is my patience and focus on making sure students understand the “why” behind a problem rather than simply memorizing formulas. As a finance student, I use math regularly and can connect concepts to real-world applications when helpful.
My lessons are best suited for middle and high school students taking math or algebra, as well as college students looking for support with introductory-level math courses or preparation.
