About Luis

Music, and singing in particular, always had an important place in my life. I studied classical technique for several years, either with private teachers and within the National Conservatory of Music. After spending years (and money) in classes (and practicing almost every day), I realized that I was not achieving my goals, and that I was singing with increasing tension and difficulty. I knew then that I had to change my learning strategy, so I began to study an evidence-based technique and scientific knowledge. Since then I have discovered that singing is easy, fun and that we can all do it; I discovered a new voice and my passion for teaching. This experience helped me understand that a singing teacher, more than being a recognized singer or one with a long history, should be empathetic with his students, know the human body and have the appropriate teaching tools. In this way, my main interest has been training as a vocal pedagogue to give the best results to my students as well as helping them to fully exploit their talent. Currently, I am still taking singing classes (contemporary technique) and I am training as a vocal pedagogue at Modern Vocal Training, an internationally recognized association. I am convinced that you never stop learning!

About the lesson

I am firmly convinced that we can all sing, even those people who swear they have no talent. My goal is to help you find balance, health and flexibility in your voice so that you can achieve the sound you are looking for and develop your full potential. With a good technique, you can know your voice, trust it and express yourself freely through music. How to achieve this? The first thing is that I can know your artistic objectives as well as make a "vocal" diagnosis so that together we understand your difficulties and needs. In this way, we can follow a completely personalized work strategy that guarantees favorable results from the first weeks (the consistency of each student is important). In addition to exercises suitable for your goals and needs, we will also review the repertoire of your preference so that singing is not only easy, but also fun. Siempre es puntual, busca acomodarse a mí horario y atento.
Nos da clase a mi hermana y a mí y hemos notado que las clases de Luis no son uniformes, él pone mucho esfuerzo en encontrar tus áreas para mejor y darte las herramientas que tú especificamente necesitas para lograrlo. Además de siempre propiciar un ambiente de confianza, dónde nos sentimos cómodas para expresarnos.
