About Ottavia
My name is Ottavia. I am 19 and am currently a student at the University of Edinburgh studying Ecological and Environmental Sciences.
I went to the International School of Geneva, Switzerland and completed the IB programme (43/45) and MYP programs (61/63) . I am also half Spanish so I am a native Spanish, French and English speaker. I have tutored students between the ages of 10-20 in these languages.
Last year, I have also worked as a full-time secondary school teacher for a year in Guyana, South America. There, I taught maths, science (all three) and English. Through working with people aged 10-20 in an environment with few resources my main aim was to help each student to perform based on specific needs. My ethos is to put the need of each student first. When it comes to learning and revising, there is no recipe for success.
