About Francesca

I am an Illustrator and Animator passionate about mixed techniques, like watercolour, acrylic and Gouache painting, but I also enjoy digital art.
I graduated in Fine arts in Italy, and in the same period, I attended a course in Comic and frequented the "Albertina Academy of Fine Arts" in Turin(Italy) for a year, where I specialized in painting techniques.
During those years in Italy, I had the opportunity to teach Comics to teenagers and made paintings on commission for private individuals.
This course of study allowed me to improve myself and specialise in both traditional and digital artistic techniques. Now I am a student at Kingston University in London in Illustration and Animation department, where aside from Uni projects I'm having the opportunity to work for musicians (doing music videos and cover albums) as a freelancer and to work on my films, which I often do with both painting techniques and digital (Photoshop and After Effects).

About the lesson

Hi!
I am a recent graduate from Kingston University with a BA in illustration and animation and a previous degree in Fine Arts taken in Italy.
If I have to describe my tutoring in short, my approach is a mix of spontaneity and technique!
I would like to pass my passion to others so that you feel free to express yourself at your best, I'm not going to impose my style on you, instead, I will do my best to convey my personal knowledge to make you improve not just in the aesthetics of the drawing but above all to make you appreciate the technical and irrational part of it.

The course is for everyone who loves art.
