About Onyx
I've been passionate about art since I was very young, I was naturally drawn to anything to do with drawing, painting, designing, or creating. I studied Art Making and Exhibiting and Visual Communication Design in high school, and have continued my studies to University, specializing in sculpture. I aspire to create concept art and illustrations for video game development. Growing up I loved content such as anime and video games, often drawing my favorite characters as many children do. This has led me to work on my own original character creation, as well as cosplay. I'm casual and enthusiastic, aiming to make lessons enjoyable and stress-free! LGBTQIA+ friendly :)

Teaching one-on-one art fundamentals and use of digital art software Procreate. Examples being color theory, anatomy, observational drawing, character illustration, composition, perspective, lighting, or anything else you may want to learn or work on. Instructions tailored to each student’s goals and skill level. Lessons focus on hands-on practice, with clear demonstrations, constructive feedback, and thoughtful critiques to help students build confidence and technique. - Traditional methods (e.g., pencils, fine line, alcohol markers) - Digital methods (I use Procreate) - Hour-long lessons - For beginner/intermediate levels looking to learn basic art principles or improve existing skills. - Recommended ~10 years old+ (controlled hand-eye coordination expected)
