About the lesson
My name is Carmie, and I give Beginning level lessons on drawing, watercolor, and oil painting techniques. My form of instructions are very simple. I usually give a brief intro while performing some demonstrations for my students. I am very patient and helpful, as well as enjoy seeing the progress of someone learning new skills in fine art.

About Carmela
I have been proficient in art since I was a child, and later gained higher education in the fine arts, specifically undergraduate in Painting, and Master of Fine Arts both with honors. I have exhibited my works in multiple group shows, and recently accomplished my first solo show last year in December. My prime medium is oil paint, but I also have proficient experience in watercolor and acrylic paint. For drawing mediums I usually go for graphite, charcoal, and ink.
I was an intructor to college-level fine art and multimedia students for 4 years while finishing my Masters. The courses I taught were Basic-Advanced Drawing, Basic-Advanced Figure Drawing, Art History, Photography, Materials & Techniques, etc. as well as general and elective courses.
On the side, I have also tutored Japanese people in speaking english and children in after school homework. :)
