About Fin
I am a passionate and committed Guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional experience, helping young learners unlock their musical potential. Teaching school and college students has allowed me to witness many inspiring transformations from beginners to confident performers. These moments are the proud milestones of my journey.
I emphasise strong fundamentals, including chords, scales, rhythm exercises, and performance skills, while encouraging creativity and self-expression. I adapt my teaching approach to match each student’s pace and goals, ensuring steady progress and confidence. My goal is to inspire every learner to develop discipline, belief in themselves, and a lifelong love for music.

My Guitar teaching methodology is rooted in Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity to ensure every student experiences steady and meaningful progress. I begin by identifying each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and musical interests so that lessons are personalised and engaging. Motivation is maintained by setting short-term goals that lead to long-term achievement.
I regularly encourage students and remind them that consistent effort brings success. Communication is always clear and patient. I explain chords, rhythm patterns, scales, and strumming techniques in simple language and demonstrate each concept thoroughly. Integrity is central to my teaching. I focus on proper posture, accurate finger positioning, clean tone production, and disciplined daily practice.
I provide honest feedback and guide students responsibly. Creativity is encouraged through improvisation, creative strumming patterns, and songwriting practice. Along with Guitar, I also teach music theory and ear training to ensure complete musical understanding.
