About Faizan

I am a First Class BSc Accounting and Finance Graduate at the University of Southampton (Graduated in 2022) and currently working at Deloitte as an Assistant Manager in London.

I have been tutoring since 2018 in subject areas such as Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Studies from GCSE to University level. I have helped many students to achieve the relevant grades in order to get to their preferred university.

About the lesson

Before we begin lessons, I start by discussing with the student on areas they feel comfortable with whilst highlighting their weaker areas. I also encourage the student to provide any mock exam results where I will also access where their strengths and weaknesses are. Once identified, I will then work with the student to formulate a plan from the first lesson till their exam.

I ensure that my 1:1 lessons are very interactive by testing the students knowledge learned throughout the lesson with small knowledge questions to ensure they understand the material. I also ensure to go through past exam questions for each topic to ensure the student is equipped with the correct exam technique to score high marks.

Lessons are performed in a relaxed environment where the student feels comfortable to ask any questions they may have which they may feel not confident to ask in class (I have been a student before and I was this very type!).
