About Michael

I am a First-Class Biochemistry graduate currently studying for an MSc in Biotechnology, with a strong academic background in biology, biochemistry and molecular biology. My university studies and practical laboratory experience have given me a detailed understanding of biological sciences, as well as the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and logically.

I am passionate about science and enjoy helping students develop their understanding and confidence. I take a patient and supportive approach to tutoring, adapting my lessons to suit each student's individual needs, learning style and academic goals.

Whether you are preparing for GCSE or A Level Biology, struggling with a particular topic or looking to strengthen your exam technique, I can provide structured and engaging lessons designed to help you make progress.

I take pride in being reliable, professional and approachable, and I aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence in Biology.

About the lesson

I am a First-Class Biochemistry graduate and am currently studying for an MSc in Biotechnology. I have a strong background in biology, biochemistry and molecular biology, as well as practical laboratory experience, which allows me to bring real-world scientific knowledge into my lessons.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I focus on understanding the areas a student finds challenging and then break complex concepts down into clear, manageable steps. Rather than simply memorising information, I encourage students to understand the underlying science so they can apply their knowledge confidently to exam questions.

Lessons typically last 60 minutes, although this can be adapted depending on the student's needs. I can help GCSE and A Level students with understanding course content, revising key topics, working through exam questions and developing effective exam technique.

Whether you are looking to improve your understanding of a particular topic, prepare for upcoming exams or build confidence in Biology, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive and suited to your individual learning style.
