Hi, I’m Joseph! I’m a 5th-year medical student with a First-Class Honours degree in Biomedical Science and 8 years of tutoring experience.
I specialise in Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, teaching students from Primary School and KS3 through to GCSE and A-Level, depending on the subject.
Over the years, I’ve worked with students of different ages, abilities and learning styles. I strongly believe that every student has the potential to succeed with the right approach, which is why I adapt every lesson to the individual student rather than using a one-size-fits-all teaching style.
Whether a student needs to rebuild their foundations, tackle difficult topics, improve their confidence or push towards the highest grades, I tailor my lessons around their strengths, weaknesses and goals.
For GCSE and A-Level students, I also focus heavily on exam technique, past-paper questions and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for.
My online lessons are friendly, supportive and structured. I aim to make difficult concepts simple and approachable while helping students become more confident and independent learners.

I strongly believe that every student learns differently, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I adapt my lessons to each individual student based on their ability, confidence, learning style and academic goals.
Whether a student is struggling with the basics, aiming to improve their grades, preparing for an important exam, or working towards the highest possible marks, I tailor my teaching to help them reach their maximum potential.
My lessons focus on:
• Building a strong understanding of the core concepts rather than simply memorising information
• Breaking difficult topics down into simple, manageable steps
• Identifying and targeting individual areas of weakness
• Developing confidence in subjects that students may previously have found difficult
• Practising exam-style questions and improving exam technique
• Teaching students how to approach unfamiliar questions independently
• Regularly reviewing previous topics to strengthen long-term understanding
• Adapting the pace and style of each lesson to the individual student
For GCSE and A-Level students, I can also tailor lessons towards their specific exam board and syllabus, with a strong focus on exam technique, past-paper questions and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for.
Subjects and levels
I offer one hour online lessons in Maths and all Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) for children between Primary school to A Levels.
With 8 years of tutoring experience, I have worked with students across a wide range of abilities. I aim to create a relaxed and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while still keeping lessons structured and focused on progress.
Ultimately, my goal is not simply to help students get through their next test. I want them to understand what they are learning, become more confident in their abilities, improve their exam performance and achieve the best grades they are capable of.
