About Bethany
I have just graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University after a 4 year degree apprenticeship with AstraZeneca. I will be staying on to further my career at AstraZeneca as a research scientist and I am hoping to share the things that I’ve learned through my journey in chemistry. I have always enjoyed tutoring my younger sister and my 2nd career option was to be a science teacher. I enjoy going for walks in the cheshire countryside and looking after dogs in my spare time.

I start off the lessons with letting the student know the main goals for the lesson, including learning objectives. I will adapt this if the student feels confident in these areas, or if they would like me to include other topics too. I will start by providing the main summary points for each topic, and go through practice questions in order to perfect exam technique. I will finalise the lesson with 10 minutes of reflection time, where the student can confirm their understanding on the topics that have been covered. All of this can be adapted to suit specific needs.
