I previously helped to tutor local 6th form students whilst at Durham, alongside assisting with their personal statements/university applications. I am new to online tutoring and have a genuine passion and love for history, achieving First Class Honours in my degree and dissertation.

For the humanities, I believe the best results are achieved by thinking broadly and critically about the subject. In my experience, this is achieved primarily through encouraging and developing independent learning and research, rather than simply consuming and revising materials. Crucially, the ability to convey oneself effectively in an essay is of paramount importance and I favour the analysis and evaluation of a student's written work in order to boost their grades.
