About Me Hi, I’m Deborah, an experienced and dedicated Economics tutor passionate about helping students excel in their studies. With a First-Class degree in Economics and an MSc in the same field, I bring both academic excellence and practical knowledge to my teaching. My journey in Economics started with my Cambridge A Levels in 2013, where I earned an A* in Business Management, A in Economics, and B in Mathematics —a strong foundation that has shaped my approach to tutoring. I specialize in tutoring GCSE, A Level, and Undergraduate students, ensuring they grasp complex economic concepts with clarity and confidence. My lessons are structured, engaging, and tailored to individual learning needs. Whether it’s mastering micro and macroeconomic theories, refining exam techniques, or applying Economics to real-world scenarios, I provide the guidance and support needed to achieve top results. About the lesson

My Approach to Tutoring

I believe in creating a supportive and interactive learning environment where students feel confident to ask questions and explore concepts deeply. My teaching methodology focuses on:

- Personalized Learning– I tailor lessons to each student's needs, strengths, and learning style to maximize understanding.
- Practical Applications – I relate concepts to real-world examples, making learning more engaging and relevant.
- Step-by-Step Guidance– Breaking down complex topics into simple, digestible parts ensures students grasp the material fully.
- Interactive Sessions– Encouraging discussions, problem-solving, and hands-on exercises to reinforce learning.
- Regular Assessments – I track progress through quizzes, practice questions, and constructive feedback.

Typical Lesson Length
Lessons typically last one to two hours, allowing enough time for concept explanations, exercises, and student discussions.

Qualifications & Experience
I personally wrote the CIE A Level exam in 2013 and made A* in Business Management, A in Economics and B in Mathematics. I went further to obtain a first class degree in Economics, and also now have a masters degree in the same field. I have extensive experience in tutoring and have been teaching for about 10 years starting out initially as a student teacher after my Cambridge exams. In my teaching journey, I have recorded numerous students with As and A*s in their various exams.
