About Flynn
I began teaching at the age of 19, in my first year of study at Oxford. Building off a strong academic record in my A Levels, in which I received 4 A*s, I achieved an academic scholarship at Oxford, and have since graduated with a first class degree in English Language and Literature. Following my graduation I moved to Sicily in southern Italy, and have just returned from a 6 month spell teaching English to all age groups and levels.
Outside of teaching, I have a great love for films and books, and I have worked in the poetry and fiction section of Waterstones Piccadilly.

My lesson plans involve a balance of meeting the practical demands and academic aspirations of my students, with an attention to achieving them in a way which is amenable to the specific characteristics of the person involved.
I provide students with a structured overview of what we will hope to achieve within the first few lessons, but these targets are consistently reassessed in line with the progress and engagement of the individual.
