About Jasper
For more than 12 years, I have enjoyed teaching flute to students from different backgrounds. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals who want to develop confidence, creativity, and musical excellence. My lessons are welcoming, interactive, and designed to support every learner's goals.
My teaching approach combines communication, flexibility, patience, and motivation. I personalize every lesson to match the student's abilities and learning objectives. Through demonstrations, guided practice, and constructive feedback, I help students build strong musical skills step by step.
Besides flute, I teach music theory, rhythm development, ear training, breath management, beginner keyboard, sight reading, music appreciation, performance techniques, and ensemble playing. These additional subjects provide students with a complete musical education.
I focus on breathing, posture, finger coordination, articulation, tone quality, rhythm, and expressive performance. I also encourage disciplined practice habits that help students achieve lasting success and confidence.

My teaching philosophy is to create flute lessons that are engaging, practical, and enjoyable for students of all ages. Communication, Accountability, and Integrity are the principles that guide my teaching and help students develop confidence and strong musical foundations.
Lessons begin with breathing exercises, posture correction, embouchure development, finger movement, and tone production. Students gradually progress through rhythm studies, scales, note reading, articulation, dynamics, phrasing, expression, and performance preparation. Lessons are adjusted to match each student's goals and learning ability.
Communication helps students understand difficult techniques through simple explanations and demonstrations. Accountability develops discipline by encouraging regular practice and goal setting. Integrity ensures that every student receives honest guidance, patient support, and fair treatment throughout the learning process.
Besides flute, I also teach Music Theory, Ear Training, Staff Notation, Sight Reading, Rhythm Practice, Breath Control, Instrument Care, Music Appreciation, Performance Skills, and Effective Practice Methods. These complementary subjects strengthen musical understanding and technical ability.
My goal is to help students become confident flute players who enjoy music and continue growing throughout their musical journey.
