About Scarlett
Hi! My name is Scarlett, I am 24 years old, I am a Physics graduate, and I am currently embarking on a postgraduate medical degree in Southampton. My physics degree, and the A-Levels and GCSEs I took, are what provide me with a high standard of knowledge in Maths and the Sciences. My job provides me with experience working with young people and a good level of familiarity with the current GCSE curriculum. My tutoring sessions will be built around you; what you identify as your strengths and weaknesses, what revision and learning style suits you best, and what your future targets are. Tutoring is all about giving that extra boost on top of school work in order to build confidence and resilience, and get you the grades you deserve!

My lessons are molded around the needs of my students. I like to learn from them what they identify as their areas of weakness, as well as setting them some starter questions in the relevant subjects in order to get a baseline measure of their abilities and to help me plan my future lessons. Tutoring sessions are typically 45 minutes, but can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours. My degree in Physics, as well as my A-Levels in Maths, Physics and Chemistry mean that I am highly confident in my ability to tutor in maths and science. I have done some tutoring on and off since starting u, and since graduating I have been working at a high school in Leeds and as such I have ample experience in working with young people.
