About Seshani
I’m a qualified tutor with a First Class Master's degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton. I have over three years of experience in home-visiting Math tutoring and enjoy helping students from Grade 6 to 10 build confidence and improve their results. In my lessons, I explain the topic step by step, then go through practice questions to help the student apply what they’ve learned. I also ask students to explain the topic back to me in their own words—this helps them really understand it. I go over each topic as many times as needed until the student feels confident. Each lesson usually runs for around two hours. My aim is not just to teach, but to help students become strong, independent learners who feel good about their progress in Math.

My tutoring approach is structured and results-focused. I begin by clearly explaining the topic, followed by guided practice through relevant questions. Each student is encouraged to “teach back” the concept to ensure deep understanding. I revisit each topic until the student demonstrates full confidence and mastery.
A typical lesson lasts around two hours, allowing sufficient time for explanation, practice, and reinforcement. I hold a First Class Master’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Wolverhampton and have over three years of experience providing home-based Mathematics tutoring.
My lessons are designed for secondary school students from Grade 6 to 10 who need support in developing a strong foundation and excelling in Mathematics.
