About Amelie
I’m a creative, thoughtful tutor who loves helping students find confidence in their own voice. I work especially well with bright, imaginative learners who might not see themselves as “academic” yet. I believe creativity and intelligence go hand in hand and sometimes all it takes is the right space to see that. I grew up passionate about drama and playing the violin, and never thought of myself as someone who would end up in top universities. But creative thinking gave me the tools to succeed. I graduated with First-Class Honours from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, and I’ll be starting my Master’s at the University of Cambridge this October. I love working with students who might feel a little outside the box, helping them build skills that unlock both creativity and confidence.

I take a warm, student-centred approach tailored to each learner’s age, goals and personality. I work with children aged 4 to 18, offering early reading support, creative writing, drama coaching and English tuition up to A level. With a background as a nanny and au pair, I have years of hands-on experience engaging young children in playful, structured learning. For older students, I bring academic rigour, thoughtful feedback and creative tools to build confidence and expression, particularly for those preparing for exams or university. Lessons typically run for 30 to 60 minutes depending on age and focus. I hold a First-Class degree in Writing from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, have an up-to-date DBS check, and will begin my Master’s at the University of Cambridge this October.
