About Eve
Hello! My name is Eve and I am a 24 year old English and Film graduate.
I have always had a passion for education and have been working in schools with young people for over three years.
I am also very passionate about supporting children and young people with additional or special educational needs, this is also something I have done for over three years.
I have worked with a range of different young people between the ages of four and eighteen and have experience supporting in lessons across the curriculum.

Hello! My name is Eve and I'm a 24 year old English graduate. I have worked in a mainstream school in the SEN department for three and a half years, working with students with range of additional needs.
I specialise in Literacy and English and am familiar with the primary and secondary school curriculum. I have certifications in Autism Awareness, ADHD Awareness, and Downs Syndrome awareness. I also have extensive knowledge regarding Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and the four areas of need.
I have experience working with children between the ages of 4 and 18. I have worked with secondary school children to ensure they get the best possible grades at GCSE level and are happy and comfortable at school.
I work on 1:1 basis and in the classroom with students daily supporting their learning across different subjects. The students I have worked with have a high success rate and are happy when they are at school. At GCSE English, I am familiar with Macbeth, An Inspector Calls, Romeo and Juliet, Jekyll and Hyde and poetry.
I have private tutoring experienced working with SEN students at a primary and secondary level, specialising in Literacy; specifically inference. I have run small groups sessions focusing on inference skills and lower level literacy.
My aim is to help every child enjoy learning and to build their confidence so they they feel happier in the classroom and are able to fulfil their potential.
My classroom is a calm, safe environment for students to thrive in and get the best possible outcomes. Every opinion is valued and I encourage my students to discuss their ideas. especially if they are different.
Lessons are available online but I am also happy to discuss in person tutoring as well.
