About Margaret Peggy
I taught for 28 years where I taught many students at all academic levels, so feel comfortable tutoring all children. Many of my students have graduated from high school and have gone onto college. I have taught children of previous students who are excited that I would be teaching their own children. I love seeing my previous students around town. I have tutored students in math including pre-algebra and algebra both online and in person. I have always loved math and almost got a minor in it, but decided to obtain a minor in Spanish instead.

I am a licensed, retired teacher who taught for 28 years in the Roswell, New Mexico public schools. I taught elementary and middle school students in both regular and gifted education. I have a Master degree in Elementary Education, Certification in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language), Endorsement in Gifted Education, and Teaching Minor in Spanish. I am a Teacher Liaison for the Space Foundation, so I love space science and all science topics. I have tutored elementary, middle, and high school students through Skype and locally. I enjoy teaching and coming up with creative ways to help students master all school subjects. Having fun while learning is the key to get students excited and willing to learn more. Since I taught gifted education, I believe that students need to be able to be creative. I find ways to help students focus better with their homework and provide strategies for focusing in school.
