About Isabel
As a recent school graduate, I understand how difficult it can be to keep on top of the pace of school. Everyone has academic struggles, whether it be inconsistent exam preparation or algebra, and sometimes it is daunting to ask teachers for help. This is where I would love to help - with 13 years of schooling up my sleeve, I know how much a simple hour of tutoring weekly can help alleviate the stress and pressure of school. In no time you will feel more confident in every class. My favourite thing about tutoring is that I love the subjects I teach, making every session something to look forward to.

I prefer students to provide me with a few notes on what they are struggling with a couple days prior to a tutoring session. This way I can help students understand concepts without wasting their time. In my previous tutoring experience I have found this can be the biggest hurdle to achieving student success.
I am able to tutor grade 5 - 10 english, maths and science and other subjects upon request. In grades 11 and 12 I studied specialist maths, mathematical methods, chemistry, biology, literature and modern history. I am able to tutor these subjects as well upon request.
A typical tutoring session would usually last 1 hour and sometimes 1.5 hours for older students. I have been tutoring for 2 months at the NRL Cowboys House in Townsville for grades 7 - 10 and have three younger siblings who I tutor weekly.
