About Hashem

At the start of year 12 I did not know tutoring would be something I would offer as I was consistently achieving mediocre grades such as a D or a C grade and I was simply not interested in improving at the time. However in due time, I found the motivation to improve my grades and achieve A*AA in my A level exams, and so I can understand how students can struggle to see themselves escaping lower grades as I struggled for the majority of year 12, and with my newfound experience I hope to help A level students achieve exponentially higher grades with efficient revision techniques and gaining a better mindset when approaching revision in general.

About the lesson

My lessons are for A level Psychology, Economics or Business students looking to escape a stagnation of grades or have a hard time grasping concepts and exam techniques. At the start of year 12 I was at a grade D in Psychology A level (AQA), and at the end of year 13 I attained an A*, so I have a lot of experience with struggling to understand how to effectively approach high tariff essay questions.

My tutoring in A level Psychology will mainly focus on how to perfect evaluations as these account for 35% of your overall grade yet students tend to miss a significant portion of these marks because evaluations are a difficult concept and are not as straightforward as AO1 and AO2. This will be mostly the same for my tutoring for Business (Edexcel) and Economics (A - Edexcel) A level as evaluations will also be key for scoring marks in high tariff essay questions.

Lessons will be typically 1 hour, however they can be extended if needed.
