About Ravinu

Hi, my name is Ravinu Appuhamy, and I am a Year 12 graduate from St Peter's College. I achieved an overall A+ in SACE Stage 2 English and currently a first year Psychology Honours student at Adelaide University. I have always been passionate about English and love inspiring others to succeed in the subject. Since many people view English as a challenging or unappealing subject, my goal is to change that by making it engaging and accessible, showing students how enjoyable and rewarding it can be.

About the lesson

I provide a lot of resources for all the subjects I tutor, with a special focus on English. For Stage 1 and 2 English, I have an extensive collection of past tasksheets and assignments across different grade bands (especially A+), and targeted study materials to help students excel. I dedicate time to guiding students through drafting, refining, and understanding their assignments, ensuring they develop strong skills for high school English.

For Ignite and ACER preparation, I offer expertly curated booklets, PowerPoint presentations, and slideshows, designed to simplify challenging concepts and build confidence. My interactive teaching approach uses visual aids, questionnaires, and activities to make learning enjoyable, improve understanding, and help students retain knowledge for longer.
