About Olwethu
I am Olwethu Bashman,19 years of age. I'm from South Africa,Eastern Cape. I'm a student at Nelson Mandela University,studying BscDietetics. I am interested in teaching English because I remember being in primary school and not being fluent in English and I really struggled with spelling and reading up until when in 4th grade. I got a library membership card ,so I would borrow books to every when I get at home .I would formulate sentences for my understanding. As I grow up that made me realize that there could be a learner like me and ashamed of themselves,that is why I want to help those learners and be better and more.

It doesn't take just a good intellect to be a good tutor ,because sometimes you can know something but be unable to explain it to someone so they can understand better.English may seem easy but it is not. Being a tutor I promise to ensure I will evaluate my students needs in a sense that I will make sure they know the basics to the language ,observe their learning mechanism. Encourage them to work hard and check their progress and giving honest feedback. Create a comfortable space formu students so they can be free and ask questions as much as they should.
