About Alice
I am a undergraduate student currently studying for a degree in Theatre: Writing, Directing and Performance. I have A-levels in English Literature (A*), Drama and Theatre (A), English Language (B) and an English based Extended Project Qualification (A*). I’m new to tutoring but I’ve just finished a term of remote learning and so understand the best ways to make teaching online work and be effective.

I base my teaching from individuals needs and work from their concerns. I always have patience and create lessons around the demands of the students. I work to ensure that each student has confidence in their subject knowledge. When delivering a lesson in English Literature, for example, I will focus mainly on big themes and make sure that the student can identify key themes and characters and then work collaboratively to identify useful quotes that speak to the bigger ideas we’ve established.
