Struggling with French, Math, or Essay writing? I’m here to help! I’m a first-year student at Western University with 2 years of experience tutoring Grades 1-8 in French and homework help for various subjects such as Math, and Essay writing. I received a score of 21/23 in my DELF B2 exam as well as received 97% overall in HL IB French in Grade 12. I’ve helped students improve grades, and develop a genuine love for learning through clear explanations, personalized lessons, and engaging activities. I believe in keeping things simple, student-centered, and adaptable—whether you thrive with step-by-step guidance, visual aids, or interactive exercises, I tailor each lesson to your unique learning style. I can help with anything that you are struggling with, whether it be homework, preparing for school tests, or just improving general French skills, such as comprehension and vocabulary.

About the lesson

Tutoring is NOT just about getting on a Zoom call and doing a class for an hour and then calling it a day. I believe the tutor, the students, and the parents need to work in tandem with each other. This is why I like to offer a free consultation class, where I can get to know the student, which subjects they are struggling with, and how I can help. I teach Grades 1-8 and I believe in a student-centered approach, where I adapt my teaching to each child’s unique learning style. My lessons focus on: Conceptual Understanding – Breaking down complex topics into simple, clear explanations. Interactive Learning – Engaging students through discussions, practice problems, and real-life applications. Progress Tracking – Monitoring improvements and adjusting lessons based on student needs. Parent interaction and active involvement in their child's progress is IMPERATIVE for me. I am constantly taking into consideration where the parent feels the child needs the most improvement and updating them on their child's progress. Here is what a typical lesson plan with me will look like (Standard 1-hour class): Warm-Up (5-10 min) – Quick review of previous material through a fun activity or discussion. Lesson Introduction (10-15 min) – Introducing the topic with examples and real-world connections. Guided Practice (20-25 min) – Working through exercises together, making sure to let the student ask any questions throughout. Independent Practice (10 min) – The student tries problems independently while I provide guidance. Recap & Homework (5-10 min) – Summarizing key points and assigning practice work (if needed).
