Nothing will come close to the first time you fight and land a fish.
In teaching others to fish for their first time, I get to relive a bit of that magic.
I started fishing as a kid and got hooked on the relaxing peacefulness with explosive moments of excitement. It is a great way to spend time in nature by yourself, or in the warm company of friends and family.
I have fished in Malaysia and Australia over the years, and have guided many friends and family on their first fishing trip. But the most important part about teaching fishing is teaching people how to enjoy fishing.
Pick up fishing with your friends and family, so you have a fun outdoor group activity to escape the hectic digital city life.
It gives everyone a chance to relax, talk, and spend mindful time together.
The best part is that every lesson ends with a lucky draw! Reels, lures, sun hoodies, and other equipment.

We start by deciding on a comfortable man-made pond location and timeslot on the weekend. I will bring all the equipment and bait needed. Make sure to bring drinking water, some snacks, and sun protection.
These ponds are stocked with big fish and have a high bite rate. They also sell food and drinks there.
I will teach you the basics and help out wherever needed:
Tying knots and hooks.
Using bait.
Fighting and landing fish.
Budget-friendly rod, reel, and equipment recommendation needed for you to start fishing by yourself.
Location and prices:
Bring along a friend or group, and you all get a 10% discount!
Shah Alam Pond (5-12 kg fish)
RM 150 per person - 4 hours
RM 200 per person - 8 hours
Tanjung Malim Pond (15-30 kg fish)
RM 250 per person - 4 hours
All fish catch-and-release only. (Except small baitfish)
Min group of 2 people.
Use of fishing rod, reel, and bait included.
Pond fees included.
Transport not included.
*Lucky draw at the end of lesson for everyone to win reels, lures, sun-protection hoodies, and other fishing equipment!

Rates are stated in the description. The hourly rate is just an estimate, not accurate as SuperProf deems it mandatory.
We are not travelling all the way to a pond to just fish for an hour. That would be madness.
Pond fees are also at 4 hours minimum. So I have calculated it all and fit it into nice packages.
