About Annabelle
Hi I’m Annabelle! I’m a flute/piccolo/recorder/tin whistle tutor with 7 years of playing experience and 3 years of teaching experience (on a different platform) and I will be attending a conservatoire in September. I lead the flute/piccolo section in a world-class marching band and have played at many prestigious venues such as Horse Guards Parade, Wellington Barracks, the ExCel centre, the Hurlingham Club, Painters Hall as well as many overseas venues.

I am offering online-only flute/piccolo/recorder/tin whistle lessons up to any level. For beginners, I use the Trevor Wye books alongside the Theory Made Easy series. First lessons include, how to hold the instrument, plus basic rhythmic activities. Once the beginner books are complete, the student will be moved onto ABRSM Grade 1 unless you request not to do grades. I strongly believe in supplementing the grade material with lots of extra exercise books (I particularly like Moyse, and Taffanel), scales, warm ups and vast repertoire. If you begin lessons with me partway through your musical journey, we will pick up where you left off, make sure your technique is strong, expand your repertoire and make sure your musical knowledge is sufficient.
