About Susana
Born and raised in Colombia, I moved to the United States in 2007 and have studied different languages which have included my mother tongue, Spanish.
The study of Spanish allowed me to take a deeper dive into the origin, grammar, and rules of the language that being a local does not inherently teach you.
With that, I expanded my knowledge of the different types of Spanish and effectively learned the international Spanish dialect that can be spoken and understood by Spanish-speakers worldwide regardless of their nationality and local dialects.
This international Spanish facilitates conversations, helps in academic knowledge of the language in scholar settings (and homework), and has helped me teach children as young as 8.
