About David
As a CASA Grade 2 Flight Instructor with over 7 years experience and current airline pilot, I combine real-world experience with a structured, student-focused approach to flight training. I’m committed to helping you overcome the most challenging aspects of your aviation journey by using proven instructional techniques developed through both ab initio and advanced flight training. My goal is to build a deep understanding of the theory and practical skills behind each lesson, giving you the confidence and knowledge to exceed.
Everyone is different and everyone learns differently. Identifying how you learn is important. Together we can create a study outline that suits you.
My qualifications:
- Grade 2 multi IFR instructor
- lecturer in all CPL, PPL and RPL subjects
- A320 type rating.

Every lesson is tailored to your goals, experience level, and learning style. I offer a friendly learning environment focused on improving weak areas and helping you meet the required standards. Each lesson lasts at least one hour and covers a specific topic from the syllabus that needs attention. With experience in lecturing large groups and also one on one sessions, I can help with both basic concepts and more advanced aerodynamics. I will create a personalised plan to help you build confidence and make steady progress.
