About Nicole

I am Nicole, 23 years old, and I studied at the University of St Andrews. I have experience studying and working in an international environment, communicating in English every day with people from different backgrounds.

As someone who speaks several languages, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and can help you find strategies that work for you.

About the lesson

I like to start lessons by getting to know your current level and what you would like to achieve. We will focus on speaking naturally while also improving grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and writing skills.

Lessons can include:

conversation practice
improving fluency and confidence
vocabulary development
grammar explanations
pronunciation support
academic writing and essay skills
preparation for university or interviews

I believe the best way to learn a language is by using it, so my lessons are relaxed, interactive and focused on helping you communicate naturally.

Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes and are suitable for beginners to advanced learners.

Perfect! Nicole is a great tutor who adapts the lessons to my level and explains things clearly. She creates a relaxed atmosphere, so it’s easy to speak without feeling pressured or self-conscious. I really enjoyed our conversations and would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their spoken English.

Mike is a lovely and attentive student. He is very polite, actively participates in conversation, and listens carefully. He is always engaged throughout our conversations, and it is a pleasure to speak with him!

I am a friend of Nicole’s who has known her for many years. She is a patient, diligent, and caring person who truly cares about helping others. Having grown up in Russia but spent most of the last 10 years in education in the UK, she is native in both languages. She also loves cats!
