About Chris

Bonjour ! My name is Chris, and I’m a fluent French speaker with a strong connection to the French language and culture.

I spent over two years living in France and Belgium, where I used French daily in real-life situations. During that time, I also studied French at the university level, which gave me a solid understanding of grammar, structure, and how the language works beyond conversation.

I’m currently living in the United States, where I teach and tutor French to students of all levels. Having learned French as a non-native speaker myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to explain things clearly and practically.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy music and playing the piano, especially classical pieces, which has deepened my appreciation for French culture and artistic expression. I believe language learning is about more than vocabulary—it’s about communication, confidence, and cultural connection.

I enjoy working with both adults and students, and I aim to create a relaxed, encouraging learning environment where progress feels natural and motivating.

I regularly adjust lessons based on your progress and feedback, so your learning stays effective and engaging. Homework is optional and light, depending on your goals and availability.

My aim is for you to leave each lesson feeling more confident, motivated, and capable in French.
