About Kayleigh

I am a fluent Irish speaker with a bachelors of Irish degree. I have received excellent grades in both my junior and leaving certificate exams. I have been speaking Irish for eighteen years and tutoring for four years in total. I have accumulated a large sum of materials over the years that can help you build your knowledge and confidence in the Irish language!

About the lesson

In my approach to teaching Irish, I aim to make learning both fun and practical. I use a variety of methods to help students practice speaking ,comprehending and utilizing the language. My classes mix traditional grammar lessons with interactive activities to help build vocabulary and sentence structure as well as providing materials to help prepare you for your oral exams and essays . All levels of Irish are welcome and I will adapt all my lessons to cater for each pupils individual needs to help build confidence and improve their fluency.

I am a fluent Irish speaker with a first class honors Irish degree. I have attended both a bunscoil and méanscoil and received excellent results in both my junior and leaving certificate exams.

My lessons typically last between 45 minutes to an hour and they are available to both ordinary and higher level students studying for their junior and leaving certificate exams. I can also offer help to primary school children struggling with Irish as I am currently studying a masters in primary education.

If you are some one just trying to learn a few phrases/ conversational/ written Irish I can absolutely help out in some more beginner friendly classes :)
