About Leeza

I am student at college so i am turning 17 years old in a few weeks, I enjoyed learning these language very much so would love to give other people the opportunity of knowing another language as i believe it opens many doors, like it has for me in the past. I lived in Spain for three to four years and then moved back to England to carry on with my education, by living in Spain and being surrounded by Spanish speakers it was much easier and quicker for me to pick up the language as i was going to school with Spanish students. When i moved back to England i was 11 years of age when i sat my Spanish and Russian Advanced GCSE in which i achieved an A*, and am currently taking my Spanish and Russian A level a year early due to being fluent. I am a native Russian speaker as my mum is Russian however dad is English so have been brought up learning both languages. I am only just starting my tutoring experience, however this shouldn't deter you as i have experienced tutoring in the past so am aware of what is necessary and essential for the role. Spanish and Russian are subjects I am very passionate about due to it being a large part of my life and something I would love to involve in my career, moreover, i am determined for others to have the mutual belief.

About the lesson

From past experience I have learnt that the best way to learn a language is to start off with the basics obviously, however if you already have that foundation of knowledge and are hoping to achieve a GCSE or Alevel by the end of it, i would base my lessons around the topic or unit they struggle on the most personally. Every student will struggle with different things whether that is writing, speaking, listening or reading however it can also be certain topics from holidays and ordering food to beliefs, social issues, and grammar. Each one of my lessons will be based on the person as an individual however if they aren't doing it as a hobby and want to achieve a grade by the end of it I would use materials such as past exam papers and past exam questions as they are very similar every year. When teaching i would like every student to feel comfortable and tell me openly when they are struggling or feel like they want more of challenge, I am a very determined and passionate tutor for this subject however whilst learning this language I would love for the student to enjoy my lessons as well!
