About Barrett

I am a passionate flute tutor with 6 years of experience, having successfully taught over 150 students. My lessons combine technical skill-building—breath control, tone, finger technique, and rhythm—with creative exercises such as improvisation and performance practice. I customise each lesson to the student’s learning style and goals, making sure progress is steady and the learning experience is enjoyable.

I also provide guidance in sight-reading, music theory, and ensemble participation, giving students a complete musical education. My mission is to inspire students to play confidently, expressively, and with a lifelong love for music.

About the lesson
