About Payton
I really do want to help you.I saw lots of my past peers have really struggled with Afrikaans(FAL) since teachers didn't explain the work properly.It always frustrated me when the teachers would get impatient since they didn't realize that everyone has different learning styles.The only reason I passed with a distinction was due the teacher catering to my learning style.I also noticed that with traditional teaching,many of the teachers would rush through the syllables.The moral of the story is,I will cater to your individual learning style,this way you are able to not only remember what you learn,you will also enjoy learning.All I require from is your time and dedication!
With that being said I am an easy-going person,I don't want you think of me as a teacher moreso as a friend who is just trying to help you.It's super important for you to feel comfortable around me!

Every week we will watch an Afrikaans movie of your choice,this way you will be able to enjoy the lesson and you will learn.I will also quiz you on the work of the week,I will work on a points system.Whoever obtains the most points will win an award.I will also make digital copies of the notes for the week so that you are able to take it home and study it.I understand everyone has different learning styles therefore once I get a feel for what works for you,I'll ensure that I cater for your learning style.This will ensure that everyone knows the work and it will ensure that you are able to enjoy the learning experience.All I ask in return is dedication from you!
