About Hope
Teaching biology has been my passion for over 4 years, supported by a MSc in Systems Biology. I specialize in evolutionary biology with a focus on natural selection, adaptation, and speciation. Fossil records are key to tracing life’s journey. Comparative anatomy provides a bridge between ancient and modern species. Genetics adds precision to evolutionary studies. I support anthropology students studying human evolution. I also work with curious learners eager to understand biodiversity. Lessons are interactive, discussion-based, and evidence-driven. I emphasize the history of life on Earth. Systems biology gives my teaching a broader perspective. Students learn to see connections across scales of biology. With biology, my teaching approach focuses on connecting ideas across evolution and diversity. I explain natural selection and speciation as the forces shaping life. I adapt lessons to learners aiming for applied careers, such as Food Chemists and Green Chemists. They often appreciate seeing biology’s links to chemistry and sustainability. I keep explanations clear and structured, so progress feels achievable. Over time, students develop independence in analyzing concepts. My lessons aim to nurture curiosity and resilience. The story of life on Earth is remarkable, and I help students see their place in that journey.
