About Giovanna

I’m Italian through and through—passionate about my language, culture, and of course, great food. I’ve lived all over the world, from Australia to the U.S., collecting experiences, accents, and probably too many espresso cups along the way. I used to work as a marketing manager in the biotech industry, but my real joy comes from helping people discover the beauty of Italian and watching them flourish. I believe learning should be fun, dynamic, and full of personality! Whether you're after conversation practice, grammar mastery, or a deep dive into Italy’s rich art and history, I’ll shape lessons to match your interests. Kids, adults, beginners, or advanced speakers—everyone is welcome! I’m friendly, patient, and punctual (must be my Italian mama instincts). As a wife and mother, I understand the importance of creating a warm and encouraging space for learning, and I bring that energy to every lesson. So, if you’re ready to sprinkle some Italian magic into your life—let’s chat!

About the lesson

As a foreign language and literature graduate with a passion for teaching Italian, I tailor my lessons to suit individual needs, whether it's conversational fluency or mastering grammar. My methodology blends interactive exercises, real-life scenarios, and cultural immersion to make learning engaging and effective.

Lessons typically last 50 minutes, providing a well-structured balance between practice and theory. However, session lengths can be adjusted depending on your preferences.

With extensive experience teaching Italian to various age groups and proficiency levels, I ensure my students gain confidence and skills at their own pace. My lessons cater to all levels, from beginners to advanced learners, and are kid-friendly, creating a fun and supportive environment for younger students in Melbourne’s Bayside area.

Whether you're looking to enhance your conversational skills, refine your grammar, or simply explore the beauty of the Italian language, my lessons are designed to meet your goals in an engaging and approachable way.
