About Su Ting
I'm an East Asian with a Southeast Asian attitude. Born in Taiwan and raised in Thailand, I've spent most of my life in the coconut country I call home.
With 10+ cats at home, I'm a loud and proud self-proclaiming 'cat whisperer'.
I've been teaching languages (English professionally, Thai amateurishly) for over 10 years, starting as a side hustle during college, and now I'm excited to help learners learn both Thai and English professionally.
I believe learning a new language doesn't have to feel like an unpleasant obligation. My classes are relaxed, interactive, and tailored to you. I'm not your mom, and I'm definitely not your strict school teacher—I'm simply your learning bestie, here to support, encourage, and cheer you on your pursuit of knowledge.

As a foreigner who learned Thai at a young age and now confidently considers Thai my native language, I can teach Thai from both the perspective of a native speaker and that of a language learner. This allows me to understand the challenges students face while also providing authentic, natural language instruction.
I teach both beginner-level Thai with a strong academic foundation and practical conversational Thai for work, travel, and everyday life. My lessons are organized into clear, topic-based sections—such as greetings, travel essentials, schedules and hobbies, self-introductions, and more—making it easy to identify the areas each learner wants to focus on or needs the most help with. This flexible structure allows me to tailor every lesson to each student's goals and learning style.
I provide all learning materials, including text documents, PDFs, PowerPoint slides, quizzes, homework, and other resources, so learners can arrive empty-handed and leave each lesson with new knowledge and greater confidence in their Thai skills.

I recommend Su Ting if anyone is looking for a Thai or English teacher. Upon first meet, I did not know she wasn't Thai simply because her accent sounds truly native, and her English is very easy to understand. I like that she often includes real-world news/events in her lesson, making it impossible to be bored chatting with her.
Ever since meeting Su Ting about a year ago, I've noticed she has a natural ability to connect with people (myself included). Languages are constantly evolving, and I've been impressed by how Su Ting continues to learn and adapt to these changes. She keeps up with the way that people actually speak, not just what's found in textbooks. With family in both Thailand and Taiwan, I've seen her effortlessly switch between Thai, Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English. She speaks clearly and is always easy to understand.
