About Charlotte

My name is Charlotte Howard and I am a 20 year old actress.
I’m hoping to help people achieve their acting goals and develop a healthier relationship with the performing process whilst doing so.

I studied performing arts for 3 years, then moved on to complete a HNC in Contemporary and Classical Acting methods.
I then studied acting further with Rose Bruford and the National Youth Theatre.
Because of this experience I am extremely familiar with the industry and always aware of the ongoing adaptations that are constantly being made.

I have also worked closely with Drama School panelists, so I’m aware of the specific characteristics that they’re looking for in potential students.

As a neurodivergent person who struggled with intense anxiety surrounding my auditions and performances, I’m hoping that I’ll be able to help others who are currently dealing with similar issues.

About the lesson

I pride myself on being completely adaptable to individual styles of working.
Instead of trying to put you in a box and telling you what is and isn’t “right”, I instead go by what your goals are and what kind of learning style works best for you.

I have a wide range of knowledge regarding different acting practitioners such as Grotowski, Stanislavski, Meisner and Uta Hagen.
I mix and match methods based on your individual performance goals, so I don’t “go by the book” and instead adapt these systems in order to help people create truthful performances.

My specialities are:

Helping with drama school auditions via working with you on monologues and giving you information on what each school is looking for in a potential student.

Working with neurodivergence and being able to find processes that help neurodivergent people develop their performance skills without sacrificing psychological safety.

Helping with intense anxiety surrounding drama school auditions and the performing process itself

Helping people who struggle with perfectionism and imposter syndrome
