About Indiah

Hi! I’m Indiah Hunter—a retired Division I soccer player from Old Dominion University and a current professional beach soccer player. I’ve been playing the game for over 15 years and have experience at both the collegiate and professional level. Soccer has shaped who I am: disciplined, competitive, and passionate about growth. Now, I love helping young athletes develop their skills, build confidence, and fall in love with the game the way I did. Whether you're just starting out or pushing to reach the next level, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

My Approach as a Soccer Trainer – Indiah Hunter

As a retired Division I soccer player from Old Dominion University and current professional beach soccer player, I bring years of high-level playing experience, discipline, and passion into every training session. My coaching style blends technical precision, athletic development, and mental toughness, all tailored to the individual player.

Training Method & Techniques:
I focus on fundamentals first—ball control, movement, and decision-making—then layer in advanced techniques like position-specific skills, small-sided play, and situational awareness. Every session is intentional, combining repetition with creativity to build both muscle memory and confidence. I also integrate conditioning, agility, and speed work, especially for athletes aiming to compete at the next level.

A Typical Training Session:
Each session starts with a dynamic warm-up, followed by technical drills (touches, passing, dribbling, shooting), then we move into scenario-based or position-specific exercises. We’ll finish with fitness, mental reps, or recovery depending on your goals. I’m big on constructive feedback, encouragement, and pushing players to challenge themselves.

What Sets Me Apart:
I’ve lived the athlete life—from club to D1 to pro—and I know the discipline it takes to compete at a high level. I connect with my players not just as a coach, but as someone who understands the journey. I emphasize both the physical and mental side of the game and make sure players leave every session feeling stronger, sharper, and more confident.

Who My Sessions Are For:
I work with youth athletes, high school players, and aspiring college or beach soccer athletes. Whether you're just starting out or preparing for a competitive season, I offer one-on-one, small group, or team-focused sessions designed to build skills, game IQ, and overall performance.
