About Kait
I have a Master of Arts in English Literature and have one year of experience as a teaching assistant, when I created course curriculum, gave lectures, led writing workshops, and graded student essays and exams. I also have three years of experience as a private tutor.

I believe in a student-led approach when tutoring and encourage students to work through problems in their preferred manner while I assist when needed. As a language tutor, I believe that conversation and writing are the most important building blocks, so I encourage a pen pal relationship of sorts where verbal and written communication is key. As a literature tutor, I believe in working through the building blocks of any assignment and asking questions using the Socratic method to help students find their own answers to the problem before them.
I have a lot of patience and love helping students find their "lightbulb moment". I work best with university and college students, particularly lose who are not native English speakers or who are not focusing on literature studies and are having trouble grasping the concepts of the field.
