*Plan and execute diverse units of instruction for all English level classes.
· Design and implemented Honors, Gifted and Honors Gifted Curriculum.
· Lesson plans are based on an integrated skills approach concurrent with State Core Curriculum Standards. Instruction presented through interdisciplinary lessons and technology embedded lessons.
· Execute and Plan an honors level 11th grade class with an emphasis on deeper connections and analysis in literature, and advanced writing techniques.
· Create and implement grammar, basic writing skills, and reading comprehension for 10th grade literacy lab directed towards FCAT Writing-style.
· Emphasis on a structured, active learning environment combining cooperative learning.
·Student evaluation includes Portfolio Assessment, rubrics based on state standards, utilization of technology, creative projects, graphic organizers and individual oral assessment.
· Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues fostering an environment for open communication and support.
· Maintain classroom website for all instructional units.
· Arranging periodic performance evaluation tests and providing detailed feedbacks about areas of improvement.
· Accomplishing regular classroom debates to raise the students interests and understandings of the subject.
· Assisting the school administration in arranging special functions / celebrations.
