About Herschel
I am a professional English educator who has been collectively tutoring, student teaching, and substitute teaching for well over 20 years.
As a former student teacher, I created a successful Language and linguistic Inquiry Website which profiled my student teaching field work within an Oakland, California Public Secondary School.
Currently, when I'm not working as an English Tutor, I enjoy writing on my Film Criticism Website, reading literature, and writing stories.
Since I was a child, I've always had a sincere appreciation and respect for English Grammar, Rhetoric, Vocabulary, Reading, and Composition. Here, it is my genuine hope that I may have the honor and privilege to help educate students in how they may significantly improve their own academic knowledge, intellectual development of the many specialized areas of study English Language. Here, I am completely committed to very real, practical and professional communication skills with intelligently crafted teachings in critical thinking through critical analysis and careful understandings in English Grammar, Rhetoric, Reading, and Composition.

METHOD:
(1) ASSESS student's educational knowledge and skills in their specific English topic of study.
(2) CREATE a personalized curriculum plan that directly builds upon the student's existing knowledge, while challenging them to develop and learn new English language and linquistic skill sets.
TECHNIQUE:
I carefully assess my student's work, create personalized educational plans, and provide them with dynamic reading, writing exercises and teachings in reading, grammar, rhetoric, diction, and composition curriculum(s), that is are structured from a growth mind set as well as from decades of professional level English teaching work.
