About Huijiao
Hi, I’m Huijiao. “Hui” means intelligence and “Jiao” means vibrancy in Mandarin; the latter is something I truly embody. I coach professionals and MBA applicants navigating high-stakes US corporate and business-school environments. My approach helps you communicate with clarity and credibility while strengthening your authentic voice, so your distinctive story lands powerfully with decision-makers. I earned an MBA from a top US program on a full scholarship and worked as a senior enterprise sales representative at IBM in Chicago, gaining direct insight into how decision-makers in Corporate America, and admissions committees evaluate candidates. As a first-generation professional who grew up in an urban shanty town in China, also the first in my family to attend university and earn an advanced degree abroad, and having lived in three countries, I bring exceptional cross-cultural understanding. This allows me to truly meet clients where they are, culturally, emotionally, and professionally, and help them bridge gaps without losing their identity. I work especially well with driven domestic and international professionals who feel their strong experience isn’t yet coming through as confidently as it should. Outside coaching, I enjoy bead embroidery, history, and experiencing new cultures in my travels.
