About Stephen
My name is Stephen Barrington. I am a husband to Elizabeth and a father to Kinzie and Victoria. Although I could sit here and list the years of experience I have that would qualify me to assist you, I think that the time would be better-spent understanding who I am as a person.
I am a firm believer that, in our literature and through the written word, we become closer to understanding our purpose and role as human beings. My goal in life is to help others better understand this for themselves.

Depending on what you are looking for, my average lesson would entail focusing on interpretive nuance and finding meaning behind the words.
I also work with practical matters of writing and expression. I am a bit of a savant when it comes to writing thesis papers and have worked diligently to perfect my craft.
Although most of my teaching experience has been at the college level, I also have taught middle school while my daughter was going through this time in her life.
