About Simran

I have been teaching for over 15 years, but since Covid, I have been primarily tutoring. Supporting students through their schooling journey is really important to me, and seeing them excel in a core subject just adds to that pleasure. English is a subject that we will need and use for the rest of our lives, so ensuring we know how to use it properly really does matter. I want my lessons to be exciting yet informative, engaging yet impactful, so a lot of thought and detail goes into planning each and every session. As a former teacher, I also have access to an abundance of resources, and my experience as an examiner will ensure that you know exactly how to tackle those exams!

About the lesson

Hi! I'm Simran, a former English teacher and now full-time tutor. Improving your grades from the comfort of your own home for 1 hour a week isn't a huge sacrifice to make, but it could have an everlasting impact on your grades. I am an expert examiner for AQA. I have been teaching for over 15 years and delivering 1-2-1 online tuition since first qualifying as a teacher. I tutor students from as young as 8 years old up to A-level. Each lesson is 1 hour - and packed full of tasks to make you fall in love with the subject.

I met simran through some cousins, and she tutored me from year 10 through to the end of my GCSE’s and my grade went from a 4 to a 9, she supported me throughout my entire course and I couldn’t have done GCSEs without her. Would highly reccomend, she is so devoted to her students.

Simran, is an excellent tutor she is kind, considerate and patient. She goes beyond to help her student achieve their full potential and is extremely approachable both to the student and parent.
