About Logan
I first and foremost believe that every student can do whatever they put their mind to! I've worked with so many kids in grades Pre-k through sixth that have struggled with a concept, but with a little bit of direction and determination, anything is possible! I'm open to trying any method of learning with your student to help them with a topic because I know that one method doesn't work for everyone and every subject. I will communicate with you through text, email, and phone if necessary, (whichever way is most convenient for you!) to discuss anything needed about tutoring.

During my teaching, I really like to do more hands-on activities rather than worksheets and things of that nature. I like to incorporate subjects that I know my student(s) are interested in in order to keep them engaged and learning throughout the lesson. In a typical lesson plan, I would include an opening activity to get the brain going, a main activity to focus on for the day/lesson, practice question(s), and then a quick and fun game/activity that practices the certain skill we learned that day. What sets me apart as a tutor is that although I am still finishing my schooling to become a teacher, I have three plus years of experience working in classrooms, substitute teaching, teaching and making lesson plans, online and in person tutoring, etc. This past experience will really help me excel in this job and help students reach their full potential in whatever they are struggling with. I would be aiming my lessons for elementary level students.
